They can even hear our particular make of car coming from a block away (how they know to be ready for us when we get home sometimes). Don't get me started on thunderstorm anxiety as I've talked about in other posts! My husbands coonhound literally took off through our house, hopped up on our bed and jumped out our second story bedroom window because the "beep" scared him.
